I couldn’t get up early today and got late from my work. The traffic was block in the way so it made me more late. When I reached my office I saw the lift was out of order. I have to use stairs to go on 7th floor. All of this made me so tired and frustrated. And when I faced my In charge, he gave me a bundle of tasks to complete in a day. Looking at the bundle of files with anger and frustration, I was thinking that why all this is happening with me. Then I suddenly saw a road accident outside from my window. A car hit a bike. The young man who was riding the bike badly injured. His leg and head was bleeding and he was unable to stand up. People gathered to help him. And I… was saying … “Alhamdulillah”.. Thanks Allah that young man was not me.
Once I read these lines. Let me share with you today:
Sometimes in life, you feel so blue,
but someone somewhere is not as happy as you.
Far at the border when a soldier sleeps,
Missing his loved ones he silently weeps.
Somewhere a mother painfully sighs,
because her newborn baby didn’t open the eyes.
Somewhere a poor dad silently cries,
seeing his son begging a bowl of rice.
In an orphanage, a little girl is sad,
when she misses her mum and dad.
when reason to smile you may not have any,
Just say to yourself that you are happier than many.
Because life is beautiful and not always blue,
and someone somewhere is not as happy as you.
So always be thankful to GOD for what you have.
